Boca Grande has long been heralded the tarpon capitol of the world.   Tucked away between Venice and Naples, this tropical paradise boasts white sand beaches and the Gulf of Mexico's sparkling turquoise waters in addition to tremendous fishing.

Some of the local species you will fish for include red drum, snook, trout, cobia, tarpon, mackerel, and grouper. 

The type and size of boat you take on your adventure will depend on what species you crave.  Whether taking back bay trips for red drum and snook or fishing the Boca Grande Pass for tarpon, you are sure to fall for the island's charm and beauty.

Boca is a great place to bring the entire family, or to impress your colleagues on a "business" trip. 

Fish aboard the SALTY CRACKER, a custom Shamrock.  Captains Mike Reark and Gary Peeples fish mainly with live crab, shrimp, and pinfish.  Tarpon ride the tides, so trips are set up based on the timing of the tide.  This is traditional live bait pass fishing at its finest.
